We lend two smartphone gimbal models: The Zhiyun Smooth 4, and the DJI Osmo Mobile 6.
Gimbals turn your mobile phone into a professional filmmaking camera, helping you create stable and smooth footage with just your smartphone. They are compatible with all smartphones, and has advanced focus pull, zoom, and object tracking.
1. Place your smartphone in the gimbal.
Push and hold open the camera clamp. Slide the Smartphone in as close as possible against the tilt axis motor, and allow the clamps to slide back together, gripping your phone. You can also loosen the mobile clamp thumb screw on the back and rotate the phone to a vertical position.
2. Balance the smartphone.
If it's leaning too much in one direction, unlock the screw and make micro-adjustments until it's level. Once you're done use the screw once more to lock it in place.
3. Press the power button to turn on the gimbal.
4. Connect the gimbal to your phone.
If you haven't already done so, download the free ZY Play app to your phone.
Open the app, and select "Smooth 4."
Tap "Connect Now." Your phone should automatically detect the device if it is powered on.
Locate "Smooth40836" and tap "Connect" > "Enter Now."
5. Use the controls on the gimbal to record video and manage gimbal movement.
