About the Kit

The Group XR Kit is a set of ten (10) XR compatible iPads and interactive cubes that transport your students into immersive lessons and experiences. In small groups your students can go on virtual field trips, see life from new perspectives, and experience learning firsthand. The Group XR Kit is perfect for students of all ages and is ideal for teachers who are interested in developing their our XR classroom experiences.

How to Guide

This How to Guide will show you how to:

Connecting the iPads to Wi-Fi
  1. Open the "Settings" app (gear icon).
  2. Select "Wi-Fi".
  3. Confirm that Wi-Fi is set to On.
  4. Choose your network from the list provided.
  5. Enter your network's password ,if you're prompted, and tap "Join."
  6. Tap the Home button to return to the iPad home page.

Anatomy AR+ - AnatomyAR+ utilizes augmented reality (AR) to take a closer look at the most iconic and vital organs of the body: the brain, the heart, and the lungs. Students can view the anatomy from the palm of their hand -- and from any angle -- with the Merge Cube. Use with the Merge Cube.

Human Anatomy Atlas -  Human Anatomy Atlas offers thousands of models to help understand and communicate how the human body looks and works--and includes textbook-level definitions. Use it as a reference, instead of an anatomy textbook, or to create virtual lab experiences. Requires Wi-Fi.

JigSpace - JigSpace is a platform used to explore and share truly interactive, 3D models of machines, electronic devices, and more. Students can dive through dozens of Jigs, learn at your their pace, and satisfy their curiosity. Use Jig Workshop to create Jigs and share them with your class.

MERGE Explorer - Engage your students in active, hands-on learning with a MERGE Cube and the MERGE Explorer app. MERGE Explorer lets students investigate a smoking volcano, examine a great white shark, hold the earth in the palm of their hands, and much more.
