Import files from EBSCO databases
You can easily import files from EBSCO databases (Academic Search Complete, CINAHL, PsycINFO, etc.) using the following steps:
One document at a time:
Click on the title of the article, and use the Zotero Connector button to pull the citation straight into Zotero, or:
- Click on the title of the article;
- Select 'Export' from the 'Tools' menu on the right-hand side;
- Choose Direct Export in RIS format;
- Download the RIS file to your computer;
- Open Zotero, select Import from the File menu;
- Locate the RIS file on your computer;
- Click Open, and Zotero will load the file into your library.
Multiple documents at a time:
- Add documents to your folder by clicking on the folder icon to the right of each citation;
- After you have added all the citations you want, go to the top navigation bar and click on Folder;
- Select the citations you want to add, or choose Select All;
- Select Export on the right-hand side of the screen;
- Choose Direct Export in RIS Format
- Download the RIS file to your computer;
- Open Zotero, select Import from the File menu;
- Locate the RIS file on your computer;
- Click Open, and Zotero will load the file into your library.
