Moving Images

The majority of moving images within the NAU Archives are unprocessed and unavailable for research access and use in the Meriam Lamont Reading Room as of 2022 due to the lack of necessary playback equipment and the obsolescence/near-obsolescence of the materials in question. However, certain collections containing moving image materials or predominantly consisting of moving image materials have been processed by SCA staff. These include:

A selection of films made documenting the construction of the Tozan Kiln in 1985 have been digitized and are available online through the Colorado Plateau Digital Collections.

Of particular interest is a digitized copy of the 1950 promotional film, College in the Pines, which sought to attract students to Arizona State College.
