A database is a fully-searchable, electronic collection of information. College libraries purchase databases so learners like you can have quick access to reliable information. A library database might contain articles originally from academic journals, magazines, and newspapers. Such a database could also contain ebooks, educational films, reference information or even works of art. The set of library database you will use to find articles for many of your classes are called EBSCOHost.
Searching in EBSCOhost is easy once you know how to get started. To access CCC's EBSCO databases, click the Online Databases link above, or use the "Find Articles" button on the homepage search box. To make it even easier, we've thrown an EBSCO search box on this page, too.
