Search Engines

Searching for a quick fact on the Internet requires search skills.  You check for the information and then stay in the search engine to explore the topic more or move on to the next fun fact.

Researching a topic in a search engine may involve searching the topic and then reading a few literature reviews online, but then you need to dig deeper.  You need to review the literature from scholarly sources to see what the experts have already researched.  Research takes time to investigate and revise your search terms and to narrow the focus of your topic.
