Adulting or what you should know about in college

"Adulting" is the term many college students hear when they leave high school because they are faced with being on their own for the first time. Some come with a lot of life skills already. Others do not.

Doctors and other medical appointments

Going to the dr's was bad enough already…now I gotta be there alone 😩 : r/Adulting

Academic appointments

Making academic appointments can seem intimidating at first but once you know where to go it all makes sense.

For Flagstaff Users-

  1. Follow this link Connect to Advisor and scroll down to "Advising by Appointment"
  2. Select "Make an Appointment Here"
  3. That will bring up a list of options and services. When you click on any option it will guide you through the steps of making an appointment with those advisors.

For Yuma Campus users you will follow the same steps listed above, but after click on one of the options/services you will scroll down and find the option for Community Campus users. After that follow the prompts and you will be good to go!

FYI- Below is a video that can help you prepare and get the most out of an academic advising appointment.
