CCC Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about using Cline Library and CCC Library Services

Yes: CCC students who are currently registered for classes can use Cline Library as their physical library. This means you can:

  • Book a study room (call or chat with the front desk, or ask in person)
  • Check out items (books, movies, etc.)
  • Check out equipment like digital cameras and recording tools
  • Use the library’s studios for content creation
  • Access the Maker Lab and other resources
  • Access Cline’s online resources, if you’re in the library building

No, this requires an NAU login. You can bring your own device, though, and get on Cline’s wifi network.

Just your CCC ID and your bad self.

Yes. In fact, you can even get access to unlock the door when the library is only open to students. Just go to the Main Desk at Cline Library, show them your CCC ID, and ask for evening door access. They’ll make sure you’re an active CCC student, and then they’ll add a nifty black stick to your ID card, which will unlock the door.

Sorry, CCC patrons cannot access NAU’s databases unless they are in the library building. CCC funds its own fantastic collection of databases and online resources.

NAU offers several parking options for visiting Cline. The most convenient are Lot P13, directly behind the library, and P16, across the street on Knoles Ave. Please note that a permit is always required in these lots. For more information, and for directions to Cline, please see their Parking webpage.

NAU operates a shuttle service that takes riders from the Skydome to the door of Cline Library. On a nice day, the Skydome is an easy walk from CCC’s Lone Tree campus. Bike racks are available throughout the NAU campus, including on the north side of Cline Library. Flagstaff’s Mountain Line bus system offers several ways to get to Cline Library. CCC students can get a discounted ECO pass to ride the Mountain Line.
