Northern Arizona Pride Association’s mission is to educate, celebrate and increase acceptance and awareness of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirits and transgender (LGBTQ2S) community of Flagstaff and Northern Arizona.
Many GSAs function as a support group and provide safety and confidentiality to students who are struggling with their identity as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning, as well as those who are experiencing harassment at school because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity or expression. These groups often provide one of the few safe spaces for students to express themselves.
Liminal is a nonprofit café and community center that is completely volunteer-run. All purchases are PWYC (pay what you can) and you never have to buy anything in order to spend time here. Furthermore, café sales and donations go directly into keeping the space up and running. They offer many free community resources which include all-ages clothing, art supplies for adults and children, stationery items and working materials, harm reduction kits, radical books and zines, a community fridge, and a public computer with free printing. Liminal is also an events space for workshops, performances, celebrations, community services, and many kinds of art and culture gatherings. They are open 10am-10pm Wednesday-Sunday.
NAZGEM is a transgender support organization that serves Northern Arizona. We serve 5 counties including Yavapai, Mojave, Coconino, Apache, Navajo, and Gila. Established in 2016, NAZGEM currently operates out of Prescott, Arizona. Whether you are just starting the journey, transitioned 20 years ago, or are a family/friend of a transgender loved one, we have support for you. Students may also develop clubs that are solely student-sponsored (for example, in situations including but not limited to those where the activity may be of a political or religious nature or otherwise outside the scope of school sponsorship).

Arizona Trans Youth and Parent Organization is a support group to empower children, teens and their families in a supportive and inclusive environment in which gender may be freely expressed and respected. We are a family support group for families with gender diverse children. We provide a supportive environment for children, adolescents, and their families to explore issues of gender identity.
Equality Arizona is a non-profit organization, made up of both a 501c3 (Equality Arizona) and 501c4 (Equality Arizona Action) tax exempt organizations. We use a variety of strategies to build the political and cultural power of LGBTQ Arizona.
As GLSEN was founded by a group of teachers in 1990, we knew that educators play key roles in creating affirming learning environments for LGBTQ youth. But as well as activating supportive educators, we believe in centering and uplifting student-led movements, which have powered initiatives like the Day of Silence, Ally Week, and more.
The LGBTQ Integrated Health Coalition of Southern Arizona is made up of behavioral health providers, community agencies, community members and allies committed to ending the health disparities faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) individuals in Southern Arizona.
The main purpose of Phoenix Pride is to promote unity, visibility, and self-esteem among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer persons; and to promote a positive image in the Valley of the Sun and throughout Arizona through community activities and services.
