A Guide to Career & Technical Education

Start here:

Search multiple databases all at once

The recommended databases are all owned by EBSCO which means that you can search all three of them at once. Here's how:

  1. Go to any of the databases above. In this walkthrough, we'll start with ERIC
  2. Once you are in ERIC, towards the top right of the search boxes there will be a blue link that says 'Choose Databases'. Click on this link.
  3. Put a checkmark next to the databases you want to search and then press 'OK'. This will allow you to search multiple databases and give you a wider range of sources to draw from. In this case, you'll want to include:
    • Academic Search Complete
    • Education Full Text (H.W. Wilson)
    • ERIC
  4. For an even wider search consider adding:
    • Education Abstracts (H.W. Wilson)
    • SocINDEX
