Thinking Historically

Thinking historically is the mindset through which historians approach their work, asking questions about change over time, context, and causation, and using historical evidence to answer these questions. It also helps to problemetize how we think of the past and see how prior events effect us today.

In other words: How does India's Partition in 1947 affect our society today? What other countries have been affected by it since?
