Faculty and graduate students are invited to join a community of practice at NAU with researchers across the university who are interested in or currently utilizing the All of Us Researcher Workbench. Hosted by Cline Librarians the group will:
- Give participants the opportunity to continue conversations and connections made through utilizing the data.
- Provide the benefit of a small, supportive community and opportunities for partnerships and collaboration.
- Inclusive, non-judgmental spaces for differing perspectives to give and receive feedback.
- Share and develop resources (skills, networks, recommendations.)
The All of Us Research Program dataset offers access to a diverse, longitudinal dataset that can be used by students and faculty who may not have access to other health research datasets. This dataset includes biological and social determinants of health data on a large, inclusive scale, that follows participants as they move, age, and grow. It is a beneficial resource for researchers in social sciences, biomedical, and public health programs.
This community of practice will kick off in the fall of 2024 and will continue through the academic year. Professional development funds are available to participants who attend a majority of the meetings.
