Integrating Library Content into Blackboard

We have made it easy to embed library resources tailored to your department directly into your BBlearn course shell. 

Add the Library to Content Area

1. In the content area of BBlearn, select  "Tools" from the top menu bar.
2. Select "More Tools" at the bottom of the list
3. Select "Start Library Research" 
4. You can change the name, add a color or description 
5. Once embedded, you can move the link to anywhere in your course

Add the Library to Left Navigation

1. Click the + icon located at the top of the left navigation bar.
2. Select "Tool Link."
3. Type the name as you want it to appear to your students.
4. In the Type drop-down, select "Start Library Research."
5. Important: check "Available to Users" to make the link visible to your students.
6. Hit Submit. 
7. Click and drag to move the link up or down within the navigation.
