Generative AI in the Visual Arts

Artificial Intelligence use in the visual arts is a new territory.  The portion of this Generative AI guide is simply to provide resources on AI use in the arts. We do know that AI learns from human creative work, and this issue is being discussed within many artist groups including musicians, visual artists, etc.

US Copyright on AI Art

The United States Copyright Office has stated that AI art cannot be copyrighted.  They started gathering information in 2021 and if you visit their Copyright and AI page you will find past recording and information on the subject.  The topic of AI is ever evolving.
