Course Reserves

Cline Library can scan book chapters or articles and stream media (visual and sound) and place them in your BBLearn course. To do so fill out the Course Reserves form and we will be in contact to let you know when content will be available. Please be aware that our ability to obtain materials from other libraries is being impacted by closures related to COVID-19.

Is it possible to put an eBook on reserve for my course?

Yes, we can put a link to the entire book in your course's Bb Learn shell. For more information, see our electronic reserves guide

How do I place a print or media item on reserve?

Faculty must fill out the Request Course Reserves Materials form and bring your course materials to the Ask Us! Desk for processing. You can provide your own copies of reserve materials or request that we purchase an item in the form. For more information, contact Course Reserves.

How will I receive digital copies of my course materials?

Electronic reserves and streaming media are delivered to course content folders in the content collection within Bb Learn. For more information, see our Electronic Reserves guide. For further assistance you can contact Course Reserves.

How can I upload materials to my Blackboard Course Shell?

Faculty can digitize and upload library materials to a Blackboard Course shell by filling out the Request Course Reserve Materials form. We have step-by-step instructions for how to upload materials to your course on our Add Electronic Reserves to Blackboard Learn page.

How can I get materials the library doesn't own for my course?

Request Course Reserves Items formFor further assistance you can contact Course Reserves

Request an item Cline Library doesn't have.

For NAU & CCC faculty, students, and staff, document delivery is a free library service that provides material that we do not own.

If we own the item in print, we'll scan it for you. If we don't own it, we'll try to request it from another library. Please be aware that our ability to obtain materials from other libraries is being impacted by closures related to COVID-19.

For more information, please go to our Request materials webpage.

If you run into other problems, email document.delivery@nau.edu.
