Library Support for Online Instruction

Introduction

Teaching during a time of disruption requires creativity and flexibility so that you can fulfill the essential learning goals of your course under new conditions.  The goal is to try to replicate the essential learning outcomes in a new format, not necessarily replicate the original course design.

Course Support

The library can help support you in achieving this goal in a number of ways:

  • Increase your student's research skills by assigning our Information Literacy Basics Tutorial. You can pick and choose which lessons to assign.
  • Instruction, consultation or research support via Zoom or Collaborate
  • Identifying new or alternative resources that can be delivered in your Bb Learn course shell.
  • Adapting research assignments to the online environment.
  • Aid student projects through library created subject or course guides
  • Help your students find sources via Zoom, Collaborate or phone
